Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and MUHAMMAD ALI about your use of the Paisly app and this website. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Paisly.

You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live. If you are under the age of majority, a parent or guardian must agree on your behalf.

Give accurate details when you sign up and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account. If you think someone else has access to it, change your password and email paisly.support@gmail.com.

You can stop using Paisly at any time and delete your account.

Paisly is a tool for recording and organising your own finances. It shows the information you enter. It does not move money, connect to your bank, or hold funds for you.

Totals, budgets, interest and return figures are calculated from what you enter and are for your information only. Paisly does not give financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Check important figures yourself before relying on them.

When you use Paisly, you agree not to:

• break the law or help anyone else do so;
• try to access other people's accounts or data, or our systems beyond what the app allows;
• interfere with the service, for example by overloading it or probing it for weaknesses without permission;
• copy, resell or reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it; or
• use features that contact other people, such as debt reminders, to harass, spam or mislead anyone.

The records you add stay yours. You give us permission to store, process and display them only as needed to run Paisly for you, as described in the privacy policy.

If you add someone else's details, such as an email address for a debt reminder, you confirm you have a right to use them for that purpose.

Paisly is currently free to use. If we introduce paid features, we will explain the price and what you get before you are charged, and payments will go through Google Play under its terms.

We are actively developing Paisly, so features may be added, changed or removed. We aim to keep the service running smoothly but cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. If we plan to shut the service down, we will give you reasonable notice and a way to export your data.

You download Paisly through Google Play, and your use of Google Play is covered by Google's own terms. The app relies on the service providers listed in the privacy policy. We are not responsible for services we do not control.

The app, its design, the Paisly name and logo belong to MUHAMMAD ALI. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the app; they do not give you any other rights in it.

We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or where the law requires it. Where we can, we will tell you why and give you a chance to export your data first.

Paisly is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises about the app beyond those set out in these terms, including that it will meet every need or that calculations will be free of errors.

To the extent the law allows, MUHAMMAD ALI is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for financial decisions you make based on information in the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. If you live elsewhere, you also keep any protections your local consumer laws give you.

If we update these terms, we will change the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by email beforehand. Continuing to use Paisly after a change means you accept the new terms.
